our HISTORY

Stroutho’s Farm House story begins in 1979, when Costas Strouthos, a construction worker decided to follow his passion for farming. He used his savings to buy a cow so he could offer his family fresh milk. From 1985 onwards, Costas managed to own an entire herd of cows and built his first cheese factory.

Throughout the years and up to 2011 Costas and his wife were running the business successfully by providing the local community with their dairy products utilizing the traditional Cypriot family recipe for Halloumi Cheese.

As of 2011, the business was passed on to the newer generation. Costa’s son, George Strouthos is now running the family business. Following his university studies in Animal Husbandry he managed to grow the family business in an international level. His vision is to use his expertise to expand the family tradition in farming and the production of dairy products using the newest methods in the farming industry, in order to produce the best quality milk and establish the family business in local and international markets.
